Saloni Khanna IAS was born in 1989 in Delhi, India. She comes from a middle-class Khatri family. Her community is specifically from the Dhai Ghar sub-group.

Saloni Khanna Education
Saloni Khanna completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA Honours) in Economics from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, between 2010 and 2013. Hansraj College is one of the top colleges in India.
After her graduation, she pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from Himalayan Garhwal University (HGU) between 2016 and 2018. During her MA, she focused on topics like Indian Economy, Macroeconomics, and Rural Energy.
